Tagliani est parvenu à trouver un investisseur canadien en mesure d’acheter l’équipement de l’ex-pilote Marty Roth, qui comprend quatre voitures de course.
Rob Edwards, qui a été gérant d’équipe ainsi qu’ingénieur de course pendant 16 ans, deviendra le gérant de l’équipe de Tag. De son côté, Jim Freudenberg, ancien directeur général de Kelley Racing, s’occupera du volet commercial de l’écurie.
Brandon Fry, qui a développé une belle chimie avec Alex dans l’écurie Conquest Racing, est pressenti pour changer de camp et devenir l’ingénieur du pilote de Lachenaie. Toutefois, rien n’a encore été décidé.
L’annonce officielle de la création de cette nouvelle équipe se fera le 28 août prochain à Chicago, à l’occasion de l’épreuve d’IndyCar disputée dans la ville des vents.
