Me vendre quelque chose ? Qu’en pensez-vous ? »

The Afghan Hound was originally used for hunting large prey in either the hills and at the mountains of Afghanistan, by which his abundant, flowing coat has been needed for warmth. The Afghan was highly valued for his ability to conduct -- fast and over great spaces -- courageously holding dangerous creatures, such as leopards, away before his huntsman on horseback caught upward. The Afghan was appreciated because of his ability to think and search independently, without human direction. Dogfoodadvisor
An Afghan puppy may eagerly seek affection from family members, only like puppies of any breed, yet this puppyhood behaviour can fool unsuspecting owners. Cute puppy antics decrease since the Afghan matures. A older Afghan Hound does not lavish attention on anybody, and some times do not even want to be hugged or petted. The free thinking, independent Afghan will decide for himself if he wants attachment, and it'll be on his terms -- none.
Freedom and indifference a side, the Afghan Hound is tender when he wishes to be and will be very amusing. Usually referred to as a "clown" by his loving family, the Afghan Hound is known to be most mischievous and stories abound of the breed's capability to steal items from under the very noses of relatives, even going so far as to open dresser drawers and grab clothes.
With an ability to see far greater distances compared to humans and pivotal hip joints which empower him to cover ground fast and easily clear barriers, the Afghan can be an all natural to get a sport named lure coursing. This contest tests the dog's power to search by sight, and also basic coursing instinct.
Whether competing in a coursing event, or appreciating lifetime as a lively family company, the Afghan Hound is really a oneofakind breed.
